Class 2 Delivery Driver - PERMANENT

We have a new vacancy for a Class 2 Delivery Driver to join our customer's Logistics Operations Team based at their Radcliffe Branch. The main duties are to carry out delivery driving to meet customer demands, with occasional requirements to support with packing and loading. This is a full-time, permanent position working 45 hours per week over five working days. This role consists of early morning starts, with occasional overnight work required. Flexibility is essential to meet the role requirements.

What are the main duties of this role?

• Regular scheduled deliveries to the company's wholesale customer base (Average: 12 – 15 drops per day)
• Goods Vehicle Operation / Delivery Driving / FLT Operation
• Occasional picking and packing of orders to meet the demands of the customer
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles and making timely and accurate customer deliveries
• To operate safely within a Warehouse/Fleet environment

What they are looking for:

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar Driver Class 2 role
• The ability to work within the given timeframes, ensuring that customer demands are met.
• Physical and mental aptitude for manual/mechanical work
• Previous similar experience working in a similar role
• Manual Handling experience
• Ability to use IT databases/keyboard skills
• Forklift Truck Licence / Experience (Training will be provided)
• Clean UK driving licence / Class 2
